Wow, I can’t believe it’s March 2008! I also can’t believe that I had a moment of reflection on my first year in college earlier this evening. How crazy is that? I honestly never imagined living to be a college freshwoman, so to actually have memories from that time in my life and to have friends to share them with is an amazing blessing.
Speaking of blessings, we have been experience some great weather here on the left coast. After a rainy January and a hazy February, March has been blue skies and breezes. I spent this weekend in beautiful Malibu retreating with campus organizers and regional directors from the Tuition Relief Now! campaign. Shout out to Cassie, Janette and Amanda who were amazing passengers to and from the retreat! Also humble apologies for a sour mood on Saturday. What can I say? (hormones :()
This week I’m working more with the campaign stuff, talking to folks about helping out and gathering signatures. There’s a giant dance night planned for this Friday, and even though it’s finals’ weekend, I’m pretty sure there’ll be someone trying to get their last hurrah before the studying begins.
